Introduction
Physical Science (Introductory Physics Emphasis) is a pure science that deals with natural laws and processes and the states and properties of matter. With a good understanding of the principles of Physics (learned in this course), the student will be inspired towards the understanding of how things work.
The purpose of this web-site, as it relates to our Physical Science class, is primarily to provide an after-hours source for homework, in the form of Problems Of the Day (POD's) and Words Of the Day (WOD's) and Daily Notes, and as a "back-up" source for other course information that is normally distributed during class time.

*Unnannounced Notebook Quizzes (UNQ's) are designed to ensure that students are taking good notes - e.g. the typical UNQ will consist of a single problem that was solved in detail during an earlier class session - as such for the reasonably concientious student the UNQ should be a "Gimme" !
For those of you that miss a UNQ (un-announced notebook quiz) - or any quiz or test for that matter - please be advised that you will not be given the same UNQ that your class-mates had taken. This would be unfair to your class mates and is not done. Indeed you need to be ready to take a UNQ from any day selected (though it will usually be around the general time frame you were absent).
